Emergency Operations and Contingency Planning

The Volcano Risk Management (VRM) short course is a collaborative project between The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC) and Earth Sciences New Zealand. It is part of a wider project funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade (MFAT). Designed for the Caribbean context, the key goal of the short course is to empower participants to incorporate planning for volcanic hazards into their workplans and to create pathways to action.

The course is delivered in a hybrid format that combines self-guided modules and instructor-led workshops. This online course is the self-directed component of the course.
